Ok, so starting out, Kailin is struggling with the poison that is running through her body and has to have fire treatments every few days while Logan does what he can to find a way to cure her permanently. It's making her weak which also means that she hasn't been able to do anything to locate her sister so that she can save her, her mother, and her best friend. Needless to say Kai is not happy about feeling so weak and helpless.
Once she gets some energy back, and Logan is sure that this treatment will last a while, Kailin starts the process of finding her sister and rescuing her. As she goes along, more information about the prophecy is revealed, but still not enough to satisify Kailin. Plus her friends come to find out who she is and what it means that she is the Hunter.
Once she has located her sister and gets the means to travel to save her, Kailin does what she must in order to bring her sister home so she can move on to saving Anjelo and Celeste. What she doesn't count on is that her sister is perfectly happy where she is and has plans to further her power. Kailin brings Greer back, but it almost costs her life. What Kai doesn't expect, but isn't surprised about, is that Greer betrays her yet again. Plus throw in a few old enemies and some steamy hot scenes with Logan and you have a freaking hit!
This book was awesome. I love how I was able to feel like I was in the book right along the characters and could actually imagine in my mind what was going on in each scene. This book draws you in and makes you want to drop everything in order to find out what happens. Because of the amazing plot, the characters, and the steamy scenes with Logan, I give this book 5 stars!
