Tijan - Evil - Release Blitz

Title: Evil

Author: Tijan

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Release Date: May 13, 2016

You know that group of people in school that everyone fears? Popular. Beautiful. The in-crowd?

That was my family. Kind of.

We were above that group. We held court over everyone else. We were the best looking. We were the mysterious and elusive ones. Most of the girls wanted to (and did) date the guys, but they didn’t want to be one of us. They couldn’t be. They were our prey.

We were the feared.

But like every family, nothing is as it seems. That was my truth.

Kellan was in his own league. He was our leader and he was the one no one messed with. No one dared. He was ruthless, powerful, and no one could match him…

Except for me.

I was about to find out just how different I was from my family.

As I drove through the backstreets of Poehler and headed out of town, I saw Leah and a few others leaving one of the pizza places, like a normal teenager enjoying time with her friends.

I’d never been a part of that world. None of the Bradens had. And for some reason, it never bothered us. We were meant for different things. Still…a part of me wished things could’ve been different. That I could’ve grown up as a normal girl with a normal family and even a normal boyfriend.

When I slowed and turned onto the gravel road that led to my home, I knew it was useless to wish that.

I wasn’t normal. No one in my family was, but it would’ve been nice to know what normal felt like.

We lived in a three-story brick house. And as I parked to the left of the garage, I cursed when I saw that every single light was off. That didn’t mean everyone was asleep, not in my family. It meant that they were outside, probably down by the river.

It was a little reprieve for me.

I let myself in to the empty house, kept the lights off, toed off my sandals, and moved into the kitchen. The bare tile felt cool underneath my feet. As I opened the fridge, I pulled out a container of orange juice and then screamed.

Kellan stood right behind me, a foreboding expression on his face.

“Oh God.” I laughed, weakly, as I set down the orange juice. “You gave me a heart attack just now.”

Kellan cocked his head to the side, his eyes on mine.

When I shut the door, the fridge’s light was replaced by the moonlight. It fell over his face and gave him a shadowed, mysterious look. Anyone else would’ve shuddered in scared anticipation. I just shuddered because it was cold.

“What?” I asked. Kellan had something to say, I could tell. I didn’t have the patience to play his games.

“Where were you?” he asked, his voice low and gruff, almost raw.

“I had things to do. What are you talking about? I told you that.” I wanted him to leave it alone. I didn’t want to tell him about the painting, not after so many years of secrecy.

“No, you didn’t tell me anything. And I knew you didn’t want me to ask, just like you never want me to ask.” Kellan moved forward and leaned against the fridge. I knew he didn’t intend it, but his stance seemed predatory.

“I saw Leah leaving the pizza place tonight. You sure you want to miss out on that?” I asked nervously. I downed the rest of the orange juice, and when I turned toward the sink, Kellan grabbed my arm and hauled me back.

“What?” I asked. Kellan had never been intentionally rough with me. I’d never seen it, but I knew he had it in him. In fact, something told me that he had a lot in him that I wouldn’t want to know.

His fingers tightened on my arm. “What were you doing tonight?”

I looked at his hand, almost distantly, though I felt the pain intimately. “Don’t ask me that.”

“Why? Are you going to tell me the truth?”

I looked up and met his gaze. His eyes were a piercing blue, so beautiful to look at, but I swallowed and steadied myself. “I would lie. And I don’t want to lie to you.”

Hello~ (waves)

I didn't begin writing until after undergraduate college. There'd been storylines and characters in my head all my life, but it came to a boiling point one day and I HAD to get them out of me. So the computer was booted up and I FINALLY felt it click. Writing is what I needed to do. After that, I had to teach myself how to write. I can't blame my teachers for not teaching me all those years in school. It was my fault. I was one of the students that was wishing I was anywhere but at school! So after that day, it took me lots of work until I was able to put together something that resembled a novel. I'm hoping I got it right since someone must be reading this profile! And I hope you keep enjoying my future stories.

6 Months

A lot can happen in six months. A heart can break and heal countless times. A life can change so dramatically that it’s unrecognizable anymore.

Sophia was a ghost, a made up pseudonym on a fake ID that helped Alexis buy beer. She was never meant to become a real person. She was never meant to live. Breathe. Hurt. Love. It’s funny how one moment can alter the course of a lifetime. Now Alexis is a ghost, and Sophia is all that remains.

But what happens when the threats you’re terrified to acknowledge come true? What happens when your loved ones are in danger, and facing the past is the only way to save them?

The newest prospect of the Widow Makers Motorcycle club is about to find out.

Louis James Aubertin III has always been single minded in his goal: bring down the Los Oscuros cartel, and kill Hector Ramirez for ordering the death of his uncle. Over the course of the last 6 months, things don’t seem that cut and dried anymore, though. If chasing down Hector means endangering the woman he loves, is it really worth the risk? If sending his club to war against one of the most dangerous cartels in the world means ruining the one good thing in his life, is the price worth paying?

Jamie will do anything to protect Sophia, but with Hector kidnapping her family members and demanding the greatest of ransoms, keeping her safe is beginning to seem like an impossible task.

Elle Christensen - Forever Fate - Release Blitz

Title: Forever Fate: A Fae Guard Novella

Series: Fae Guard #6

Author: Elle Christensen

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Release Date: May 12, 2016

I loved him all of my life.

Then, he sent me away and broke my heart.

But, a millennium wasn’t long enough to erase him completely.

Now, my time as Fate is up, and he’s returned for me

I don’t know if I can let him break down my walls

But, if I stay behind them, alone,

I’ll be forever Fate.

Seraphina held my heart in her hands.

But, she was wild and always pushing limits.

I physically let her go, but she was always in my heart.

She’s finally proven herself.

I’ve been given permission to bring her home.

There is no other option than to win her heart, again.

She’ll forever be my Seraphina.

The rustle of fabric is the only indication that I’m not alone, but I remain in my seat. Today, it’s a purple velvet swivel chair. I stare out the window of my office, watching the white, fluffy clouds roll through the sky, seeming to go right around the sun, never disrupting its rays.

The voice has my thoughts screeching back to reality, sending a shiver of want down my spine, and making my heart ache. I slowly turn my seat to face him. “A millennium and still, you’re the only stubborn ass who calls me by my full name,” I drawl casually, doing a damn fine job of hiding my reaction to him.

He raises a single eyebrow, as though I should know better. The jackass.

“Gabriel,” I emphasize his name with a high level of sarcasm. Of all people, the Arch Angel named Gabriel should understand my irritation at being namedSeraphina. I mean, dude, could we be more of a walking cliché?

I cock my head to the side, showing only mild curiosity. “I have to say, I never expected they would send you.”

He looks just the same: tall, muscular, black inky hair, cut short-ish, but perfectly unruly from his lazy curls. Amethyst eyes, a square face, chiseled jaw, Roman nose, and pouty lips (Guys can have pouty lips, too. Even GQ angel bastards), make up one fucking delicious package. And, oh, what a damn fine package it is. You ought to know, slutmuffin Mmmhmmm . . .  yes, I do.

Heat infuses me and I’m really pissed at the hormone-ridden teenager lusting after him like he’s the lead singer of that popular boy band, One Track. One Direction, idiot. Whatever, fucklet, go back to your books and virgin thoughts. Go. Scat.

Well fuck, now I’m left with a bitch in heat. I stifle a groan.

“Perhaps they didn’t think you would  return with anyone but me, without putting up a fuss,” his smooth, melted caramel voice is so familiar and I want to tell him to keep talking forever, but then I remember, and the stabbing pain of betrayal accompanies rising anger.

“Putting up a fuss?” I snip. “Do you see a fucking toddler in front of you?” My eyes narrow, willing laser beams to shoot out and burn multiple holes into his ridiculously gorgeous body.

“If you’re going to act like a child, Seraphina, I’ll treat you like one,” he says calmly as he moves to stand right in front of the desk, his stance deceptively casual. Yeah, right. I snort, but manage not to stomp my foot and hiss in irritation.

Instead, I sigh. “Gabriel, I haven’t seen or heard from you in over seven hundred years. Seriously, why the fuck did they send you?”

He prowls around my desk, gripping the armrests of my chair and turning me to face him. Leaning down, he has me caged in, his face inches from mine. “I volunteered.”

His proximity is throwing me off, suddenly bombarded by every horny personality inside my head. “Um—why?” I clear my throat and try to sound unaffected, “Why would you do that? Maybe—.” I gasp a little when he moves closer, only centimeters from my mouth. “Maybe I don’t want to see you.” I nod sharply, pleased I was able to say that without bursting into flames and finding myself standing next to the devil. Have I ever told such a massive and blatant lie? Only Gabriel has ever been able to push my buttons so thoroughly. Get it together, woman!

His eyes narrow, his brows dropping low, but there is no disguising the heat in them. “Liar. You’re body fucking craves me every bit as much as mine does yours.”

Before I can deny it, his lips are on mine and my traitorous body fucking melts.

I don’t love him. I don’t love him. I don’t love him.

I chant the words in my head over and over, hoping if I say it enough, I’ll believe it. I’ve spent centuries building up the wall around my heart and I refuse to let it get broken a second time by the man who destroyed it in the first place.

I’m a lover of all things books, a hopeless romantic, and have always had a passion for writing. Between being a sappy romantic, my love of an HEA, my crazy imagination, and ok, let’s be real, my dirty mind, I fell easily into writing romance.

I’m a huge baseball fan and yet, a complete girly, girl. I’m an obsessive reader and have a slight (hahaha! Slight? Yeah, right) addiction to signed books.

I’m married to my very own book boyfriend, an alpha male with a sexy, sweet side. He is the best inspiration, my biggest supporter, and the love of my life. He is also incredibly patient and understanding about the fact that he has to fight the voices in my head for my attention.

I hope you enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoyed writing them!

From the New York Times bestselling authors of Stuck-Up Suit and Cocky Bastard, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

Money or love? Which would you choose?

You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it's an easy decision.

For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot.

I needed to go far away to think it through.

As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.

Then, he left.

I thought I'd never see him again.

But fate had other plans.

Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.

The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed.

Carter was dangerous and always on the move.

Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary.

He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places.

A bevvy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter's reputation were never far behind.

I didn't know what to believe.

But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot.

At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.
